Are you a new trucker or are trying to update your USDOT regulation number decals? We can help!
Avoid any issues with DOT by displaying your USOT numbers professionally outside of your commercial vehicle. All of our USDOT decal products exceed US DOT (FMCSA) regulations.
A few tips to keep in mind,
Your USDOT number must contrast with the color of your vehicle. If your vehicle is white, you want to display your USDOT number with a dark colored font. If you have a dark colored vehicle, you want to display your lettering with a light colored font such as white or creme.
Your USDOT number must be 2 inches (5 CM) in height and visible from a distance of at least 50 feet away. We recommend displaying your lettering larger if you have a large commercial vehicle such as a semi-truck or box truck.
If you are a professional trucker and doing business out of state, we highly recommend displaying your MC number and your GVW (gross vehicle weight). If you are operating within California, you will need to register with the CHP (California Highway Patrol) to obtain your CA number.
